Whilst performing in and around Bournemouth and Poole over the last 20 plus years, Wyn has worked at many local venues. Weddings have changed a lot in that time. Traditionally he would have been called upon to entertain after the church ceremony in hotels such as the Chewton Glen in New Milton, the Royal Bath or the Carlton in Bournemouth or the Thistle Hotel in Poole, but things change. Now many of the weddings Wyn performs at are held at the same place as the reception in such diverse and wonderful locations as Compton Acres in Poole, The Country Courtyard in Lytchett Minster, or Parley Manor and Sopley Mill just outside Bournemouth. Lulworth Castle is another of his favourite venues. Civil ceremonies became more popular as well as the renewal of vows, and more recently Wyn has performed at same sex weddings. To see the sort of magic that you only ever see on television, but just inches away, is a mind-boggling experience that people talk about for years afterwards. It is suitable for all, from elderly relatives, right down to young children and all those in between. It can break down language barriers, and create a talking point for guests who perhaps don't know each other.
Weddings are never ‘off the shelf’ affairs. No two are exactly the same, and Bournemouth magician Wyn takes a holistic view to put together a package that suits your needs. Close-up table magic at the Wedding breakfast? Sure. Mingling magic during pre-dinner drinks? Of course? A show to engage the children only? That’s possible. A fun vibrant performance of magic done close up followed by a hilarious street show at your evening party? Absolutely.
A very important factor that Wyn takes into account is that it’s the best day of your life. People who work at weddings may do this sort of thing a lot and become blasé about it but he never does that. This day is your special day and every effort is put into it to make sure it’s a memorable one. Whether your celebration is at a Bournemouth Hotel, a pub in Poole or even on a Sunseeker yacht out to sea straddling Bournemouth and Sandbanks the venue is irrelevant, but the service will be of the highest order.
